Along with having being editor-in-chief of Automedica (an international journal of high-tech medicine), Prof. Dr. Dhanjoo N. Ghista has published over 400 works in the fields of engineering, biomedicine, and social sciences. He is also author/editor of over twenty books on biomedical engineering, engineering physiology, cardiovascular physics, orthopedic mechanics, medical and life physics, spinal injury biomedical engineering, socio-economic democracy and world goverment, and African development. He is a pioneer in the fields of biomedical engineering, healthcare engineering and management, and sustainable community development, and is committed to the advancement of Developing Countries.
Currently Chief Academic officer & Registrar at Parkway College (the new education arm of Parkway Group in Singapore, the leading private healthcare provider in the Asia region), Professor Ghista was previously professor at University of New South Wales Asia, professor at Nanyang Technological University, professor and chairman of biomedical engineering at Osmania University , professor and founding chairman of the Biophysics Department at the United Arab Emirates University in AI Ain, UAE. Prior to that, he was professor of medicine and engineering-physics, as well as chairman of biomedical engineering, at McMaster University (in Canada).
